Here's the key question for every manager this week: which teams need goals? Because desperation equals attacking intent, and attacking intent equals fantasy points. Let's break down all eight second legs.

The Aggregate Picture

Before we get into individual ties, understanding the aggregate situation is essential. It shapes everything — who will attack, who will sit deep, and where the goals are most likely to come from.

But don't overlook Bodø/Glimt on the counter. Jens Petter Hauge has been the story of the competition — 6 goals and 5 assists coming into the second legs, and a 2-0 cushion means Bodø can sit deep and hit Sporting on the break. He's a budget gem with genuine upside even in a defensive setup.

Arsenal vs Leverkusen (17:45 GMT)

This is the tie of the round for fantasy managers. A 1-1 draw in Germany means both teams will go for the win at the Emirates, and that means goals. Arsenal's home record in Europe this season has been exceptional, and with Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyökeres, and Martin Ødegaard all firing, the Gunners have the firepower to take control.

Gyökeres in particular stands out — the January signing has added a ruthless cutting edge to Arsenal's attack, and on a big European night at the Emirates, expect him to be heavily involved. Martinelli (6 UCL goals this season) continues to fly under the radar as well.

Chelsea vs PSG (20:00 GMT)

Chelsea were obliterated 5-2 in Paris and need to overturn a three-goal deficit at Stamford Bridge. Like City, they'll throw caution to the wind — which is terrible for Chelsea's defence but excellent for attackers on both sides.

Pedro Neto and Estêvão will be given free rein to attack, while João Pedro needs to be clinical. But the real fantasy play here might be PSG assets on the counter. Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will have acres of space as Chelsea push forward desperately. Bradley Barcola is another option who could punish an open Chelsea backline.

Wednesday 18 March — Day 2

Barcelona vs Newcastle (20:00 GMT)

The aggregate is level at 1-1, which makes Camp Nou an absolute cauldron. Barcelona at home in a knockout tie under the lights — Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski will be backed by 99,000 fans to get the job done. Pedri and Dani Olmo pull the strings in midfield.

But Newcastle won't just defend. Anthony Gordon — the competition's second-highest scorer with 10 UCL goals — is a genuine game-changer on the counter. Harvey Barnes and Yoane Wissa provide pace in transition, and Sandro Tonali can drive from deep.

Spurs vs Atlético Madrid (20:00 GMT)

Spurs were demolished 5-2 in Madrid and realistically, this tie is over. Atlético will set up to control, defend, and counter — Simeone's bread and butter.
