Team news and prices correct as of 2 November 2026, 11:30 GMT. The Matchday 4 deadline is Tuesday 3 November at 17:45 GMT. Every line-up below is predicted, not confirmed.
The safest high-value starters for UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 are Kylian Mbappé, Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Gabriel and David Raya. Their European minutes are strong enough to make them the foundations of a squad. Phil Foden, Carlos Augusto, Michael Olise and several Liverpool attackers carry more rotation risk.
The best tactical edge comes before the deadline. Galatasaray against Stuttgart and Shakhtar against Sporting both kick off at 17:45 GMT on Tuesday, so their confirmed teams should be available before Fantasy locks. Do not guess when UEFA is about to give you the answer.
The quick rotation verdict
- Build around: Mbappé, Valverde, Bellingham, Yamal, Kane, Rice, Gabriel, Raya, Luis Suárez and Gonçalo Inácio.
- Buy only with a playing bench: Foden, Carlos Augusto, Michael Olise, Dani Olmo and Arsenal's second attacking-midfield slot.
- Wait for Tuesday's early teams: Osimhen, Sané, Sallai, Altimira, Catamo and Sporting's goalkeeper.
- Avoid blind transfers into crowded attacks: Liverpool and Manchester City have attractive players but too many credible combinations to treat every premium name as secure.

Tuesday predicted line-ups and Fantasy risks
Galatasaray vs Stuttgart
Galatasaray predicted core: Uğurcan Çakır; Davinson Sánchez, Ismail Jakobs; Lucas Torreira, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Yunus Akgün; Victor Osimhen.
Sánchez, Jakobs and Çakır have completed all 270 European minutes, while Torreira, Yılmaz and Akgün have each played more than 200. They are the sensible predicted core. Osimhen has 175 minutes and remains the forward with the clearest ceiling, but there is no reason to transfer him in before seeing the official XI.
Roland Sallai, Leroy Sané and Rafael Leão are the trickier decisions. Sallai's 203 minutes are encouraging, while Sané has only 106 and Leão is currently flagged. The team sheet decides this one. If Osimhen starts, he becomes a credible Tuesday captain. If he does not, move on rather than trying to be clever.
Shakhtar vs Sporting CP
Sporting predicted core: Gonçalo Inácio, Eduardo Quaresma, Sergi Altimira; Maxi Araújo, Issa Doumbia, Geny Catamo; Luis Suárez.
Inácio, Altimira and Araújo have played every European minute, Quaresma has 264 and Suárez has 249. That is a strong starting framework. The uncertainty sits in goal, where Kaique Pereira and Rui Silva have split the three matches, and in the final attacking places.
Altimira is classified as a defender and costs €4.0m, which makes a confirmed start especially useful. Suárez is the more explosive Fantasy pick and a live first-day captain. Again, wait. A 17:45 kick-off turns prediction into certainty before the deadline.
Barcelona vs Aston Villa
Barcelona predicted core: Joan García; João Cancelo, Pau Cubarsí; Pedri; Lamine Yamal.
Yamal, Cancelo, Cubarsí and García have played all 270 European minutes. Yamal is the obvious Fantasy priority because 33 points and a guaranteed attacking role matter more than trying to identify the fourth or fifth member of Barcelona's front line. Yamal and Raphinha both scored twice in Saturday's 6-1 win over Alavés.
Raphinha has only 131 European minutes, Dani Olmo 168 and Fermín López 165. Raphinha's brace came in his third match back after a spell out and strengthens his case, but none belongs in the same security tier as Yamal. I would buy Yamal, hold Raphinha if my bench is healthy, and avoid doubling up on uncertain Barcelona attackers before final news.
Atlético de Madrid vs Bayern München
Bayern predicted core: Manuel Neuer; Konrad Laimer, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies; Joshua Kimmich; Harry Kane.
Kane is the only Bayern player to complete all 270 European minutes and remains the cleanest Fantasy route. He started Saturday's 2-2 draw with Dortmund and assisted Upamecano. Laimer has 245 European minutes, Upamecano 225 and Davies 210, but a difficult away fixture reduces the appeal of buying a defender purely for security.
Michael Olise has 164 minutes. His ceiling is obvious, yet his European workload makes him a hold rather than an automatic transfer in. Kane is a safe starter and captain candidate. Olise is an upside pick who needs bench cover.
Feyenoord vs Inter
Inter predicted core: Josep Martínez; Alessandro Bastoni, Yann Bisseck; Nicolò Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu; Marcus Thuram.
Inter are where price can tempt managers into ignoring minutes. Carlos Augusto has scored 25 Fantasy points from 173 minutes at €4.0m. That is excellent production, but it does not make him secure. Federico Dimarco has only 137 minutes, so the left side remains difficult to call.
Bastoni has 248 minutes and is the safer defender. Barella has 228 and Thuram 217. Lautaro Martínez has played 180 minutes and is currently flagged, which makes a fresh transfer unnecessarily aggressive. Carlos Augusto can be worth the gamble in a deep squad. He should not be the player your XI depends on.
Wednesday predicted line-ups and Fantasy risks
AEK Athens vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid predicted core: Thibaut Courtois; Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham; Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior.
Valverde and Courtois have played 270 minutes, Bellingham 268 and Mbappé 267. That is as close to a secure Fantasy spine as any elite side offers. Mbappé is the leading Wednesday captain, while Valverde and Bellingham are strong midfield routes.
The defence is less settled. Antonio Rüdiger, Ibrahima Konaté and Dean Huijsen have each played 180 minutes, with Marc Cucurella on 188. Real Madrid play in Wednesday's early slot, so managers can use the official XI for substitutions and captaincy, but it arrives after Tuesday's transfer deadline. Buy the secure attackers first.
Fenerbahçe vs Liverpool
Liverpool predicted core: Alisson; Virgil van Dijk; Ryan Gravenberch; Florian Wirtz.
Alisson has played every minute, Wirtz 225 and Van Dijk 208. Beyond them, Liverpool's European selections have moved around. Rio Ngumoha has 220 minutes, Alexis Mac Allister 165, Bradley Barcola 149 and Alexander Isak only 112.
This is a team to approach with restraint. Wirtz is the best blend of role and minutes among the attackers, while Alisson is the least complicated selection. Isak and the wider forwards can haul, but I would not buy them ahead of more secure premium forwards. The early Wednesday team sheet helps with your bench, not with Tuesday transfers.
Leipzig vs Manchester City
Manchester City predicted core: Gianluigi Donnarumma; Rúben Dias, Joško Gvardiol; Enzo Fernández, Elliot Anderson; Erling Haaland.
Donnarumma has 270 minutes, Enzo 251, Khusanov 222, Dias 218 and Gvardiol 210. Haaland has played 180 minutes and remains the clear forward to own because his captaincy ceiling outweighs the substitution risk.
Foden is the difficult one. He has 26 points from only 165 European minutes, including a huge Matchday 3 return. He started City's midweek cup tie, then came on after 80 minutes in Saturday's 1-0 league defeat by Brighton while Haaland started. That managed workload keeps Foden firmly in contention without turning him into a secure pick.
Foden is an aggressive differential with a playing bench. He is not a secure replacement for a midfielder who regularly completes 90 minutes. The fixture is excellent. The minutes are not guaranteed.
Slavia Praha vs Arsenal
Arsenal predicted core: David Raya; Gabriel, Ezri Konsa; Declan Rice; Eberechi Eze.
Raya, Gabriel, Konsa and Rice have played all 270 minutes. That quartet offers the cleanest way into Arsenal. Eze has 231 minutes and is the most secure attacking midfielder on the European evidence, while Martin Ødegaard has 200.
The remaining attacking places are more volatile. Noni Madueke has 172 minutes, Viktor Gyökeres 160 and Bukayo Saka 108, with Saka currently flagged. Arsenal's defensive core is easier to trust than the attack. If you want one transfer, Gabriel or Raya makes more sense than guessing the front line two days early.
Borussia Dortmund vs Real Betis
Dortmund predicted core: Gregor Kobel; Waldemar Anton, Daniel Svensson, Julian Ryerson; Joey Veerman; Serhou Guirassy.
Kobel and Anton have completed 270 minutes, Svensson has 257, Veerman 240, and Guirassy and Ryerson 210 each. Guirassy is the Fantasy priority. His central role and 27 points make him a stronger transfer than Dortmund's rotating midfielders.
Maximilian Beier, Fábio Silva and Felix Nmecha all sit between 165 and 177 minutes. They can start, but they are not secure enough to displace a proven Fantasy asset. Guirassy is the pick; the rest are watchlist names.
How to use predicted line-ups without getting trapped
- Separate the core from the complete XI. Predicting eight reliable starters is more useful than forcing three coin flips into a neat formation.
- Exploit the early teams. Galatasaray and Sporting picks should be confirmed before you buy them.
- Count existing risks. One Foden-style gamble is reasonable. Four of them turn a squad into a benching accident.
- Protect Wednesday upside. Place uncertain Wednesday starters in the XI and keep playable alternatives on the bench.
- Recheck close to deadline. Monday press conferences, travel squads and Tuesday training updates can change the final call.
The Matchday 4 fixture list shows the playing-day split, while the transfer planner helps test a safer route before committing.
Final Matchday 4 line-up verdict
Buy the secure spine first. Mbappé, Yamal and Kane are premium players with the minutes to justify premium money. Gabriel, Raya, Rice and Valverde offer dependable routes into strong teams. Guirassy and Luis Suárez combine strong European workloads with attractive roles.
Treat Foden, Carlos Augusto, Olise and the crowded Liverpool attack as calculated risks, not default picks. For Galatasaray and Sporting, wait for the official teams. The smartest predicted-line-up decision is sometimes refusing to predict until the official sheet arrives.
