The Ultimate Limitless Squad: Your Quarter-Final Dream Team Uncapped

No budget. No compromise. The optimal 15-man Limitless squad for the quarter-finals, built entirely from verified stats.

The Limitless chip is arguably the most powerful weapon in UCL Fantasy. It removes your budget entirely for one matchday, letting you select any player regardless of price. With only two chips available all season (Wildcard and Limitless), timing is everything.

Whether you are planning to activate Limitless on Leg 1 or saving it for Leg 2, you need to know which players are genuinely worth the hype and which are expensive traps. This is the squad we would build if Limitless were active right now, justified entirely by the numbers.

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid, 6.2m)

Season stats: 55 points, 4 clean sheets, 2 assists, 26% ownership

Courtois is the clear number one pick in goal. His 55 total points are the best of any goalkeeper in the competition, and he averages 8.9 points per million spent. Two assists from goal kicks and distribution add a dimension you simply do not get from other keepers. Real Madrid face Bayern Munich, whose attacking options are weakened by Michael Olise's suspension and a number of injuries in the squad.

David Raya (Arsenal, 5.5m) sits on the bench with 46 points and an outstanding 6 clean sheets, the most in the tournament. Arsenal face Sporting CP, a tie that offers strong clean sheet potential. Raya's form rating of 4.5 makes him a superb backup option should you want to hedge.

Defence: Paris Domination

Three of the four best defenders in UCL Fantasy play for Paris Saint-Germain. When you remove budget constraints, the back line practically picks itself.

1Nuno Mendes Paris71 pts
2Virgil van Dijk Liverpool67 pts
3William Pacho Paris66 pts
4Gabriel Arsenal50 pts
5Achraf Hakimi Paris46 pts

Nuno Mendes (Paris, 6.3m) - The Must-Have

Already owned by 53% of managers, Nuno Mendes leads all defenders with 71 total points. Two goals, two assists, and three clean sheets from a full-back who plays as an auxiliary winger in Luis Enrique's system. His 11.3 points per million is elite. Against Liverpool, PSG will need attacking width, and Mendes delivers it in spades.

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, 6.2m) - The Anchor

Van Dijk sits on 67 points with a form rating of 4.5, meaning he has been consistently delivering in recent matchdays. Four clean sheets, two goals, and two assists from centre-back. Liverpool's defensive record this season is outstanding, and facing PSG gives him an opportunity against a side that can be vulnerable on the counter.

William Pacho (Paris, 5.0m) - The Value King

The best value defender in the competition. Pacho's 66 points at just 5.0m gives him a staggering 13.2 points per million, the highest of any outfield player in UCL Fantasy. Two goals and an assist from centre-back, plus three clean sheets. At 15% ownership, he remains criminally overlooked.

Gabriel (Arsenal, 5.7m) - The Set-Piece Threat

Five clean sheets from Gabriel is the most of any defender. Add a goal and an assist, and you have 50 points from a centre-back who is a genuine aerial threat from corners. Arsenal face Sporting CP, and with a form rating of 4.5, Gabriel is in outstanding touch heading into the knockout rounds.

Achraf Hakimi (Paris, 5.9m) - The Assist Machine

Five assists from a defender. That is more than most midfielders in the competition. Hakimi's 46 points and 4.5 form rating make him a standout, and his ownership of 33% suggests the community already knows. But on Limitless, where budget does not matter, doubling up on PSG's defence alongside Nuno Mendes and Pacho is entirely viable.

⚠️ Avoid: Jules Koundé (Barcelona) is flagged as injured. Jurriën Timber (Arsenal) is also injured. Neither should be in your squad until their status is confirmed closer to matchday.

Midfield: Where the Points Live

Midfield is where UCL Fantasy is won and lost. The scoring system heavily favours midfielders: five points per goal, three per assist, and one point for a clean sheet. The top midfielders are outscoring every forward in the game except Mbappé, and they cost less.

1Kvaratskhelia Paris82 pts
2Vitinha Paris81 pts
3Vinícius Júnior Real Madrid78 pts
4Francisco Trincão Sporting CP69 pts
5Dominik Szoboszlai Liverpool68 pts

Kvaratskhelia (Paris, 8.2m) - The Season Leader

Joint-top scorer in UCL Fantasy with 82 points. Seven goals and four assists from a player classified as a midfielder is extraordinary output. The clean sheet bonus (three so far) is a cherry on top. At 16% ownership, he is massively under-owned for a player who has been the single best asset in the game. PSG against Liverpool is the headline fixture, and Kvara thrives in exactly these kinds of matches.

Vitinha (Paris, 7.3m) - The Engine

Vitinha's 81 points and 11.1 points per million make him one of the most efficient players in UCL Fantasy. Six goals from central midfield is remarkable, and his 3.5 form rating shows sustained output rather than one or two big hauls. At 41% ownership, the community has recognised his value, but on Limitless, he is an automatic pick.

Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid, 9.6m) - The Difference Maker

Five goals and seven assists give Vinícius the best combined attacking output of any midfielder. His 78 total points and 4.5 form rating suggest he is peaking at exactly the right time. Real Madrid face Bayern Munich, and with Olise suspended on the other side, this could be a fixture where Vinícius runs riot. At 23% ownership, he is a genuine captaincy contender.

Francisco Trincão (Sporting CP, 6.5m) - The Differential Gem

Here is where the Limitless squad gets interesting. Trincão has 69 points, a perfect 5.0 form rating, and just 6% ownership. Four goals and four assists at 10.6 points per million. Sporting face Arsenal, and while Arsenal are defensively solid, Trincão has consistently delivered regardless of opponent. He is the kind of pick that wins you your mini-league on a Limitless chip.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool, 6.9m) - The Complete Package

Szoboszlai's 68 points feature four goals, four assists, and four clean sheets. That clean sheet tally is remarkable for an attacking midfielder and reflects Liverpool's defensive solidity. A 4.5 form rating and 22% ownership make him a strong Limitless pick. Against PSG, Liverpool will need creative quality, and Szoboszlai provides it.

💡 Honourable mention: Federico Valverde (Real Madrid, 6.8m) has 66 points and a perfect 5.0 form rating at just 13% ownership. If you prefer a 4-5-1 formation, Valverde is the sixth midfielder you want.
🚫 Suspended: Michael Olise (Bayern Munich, 8.3m) is suspended for the quarter-finals despite 57 points and 7 assists this season. Do NOT include him in your Limitless squad.

Forwards: The Expensive Question

Forwards are the trickiest position in UCL Fantasy. They receive only four points per goal (compared to five for midfielders) and zero clean sheet points. This means a midfielder who scores is almost always worth more than a forward who scores. On Limitless, though, you can afford the premiums without sacrificing your midfield.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich, 10.8m) - The Fixture-Proof Goalscorer

Season stats: 58 points, 8 goals, 0 assists, 38% ownership, 5.0 form

Kane's perfect 5.0 form rating is the standout number. Eight goals with zero assists tells you everything about what he does: he finishes. With Olise suspended, Bayern's attack will funnel through Kane even more than usual. Against Real Madrid, in a match that could be high-scoring on both sides, Kane is the premium forward pick.

Julián Álvarez (Atletico Madrid, 9.2m) - The Volume Scorer

Season stats: 65 points, 7 goals, 3 assists, 19% ownership, 2.0 form

Álvarez has been one of the most productive forwards all season with 65 total points. Seven goals and three assists represent serious output. The concern is a 2.0 form rating, suggesting his returns have tailed off recently. But on Limitless, his overall body of work and Barcelona fixture (a tie where both sides should score) make him the second forward pick.

⚠️ Mbappé watch: Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid, 11.1m) is the joint-top scorer in UCL Fantasy with 82 points and 13 goals. However, he is flagged as Doubtful in the official data. At 54% ownership, he is a massive risk if he does not start. Monitor his status carefully before locking any Limitless squad.

The formation is 4-5-1, reflecting the reality that midfielders are the best point-scoring position in UCL Fantasy. Five midfielders, four defenders, and one forward maximises your ceiling.

Captain Pick: Vinícius Júnior

On a Limitless matchday, the captain choice is everything. Vinícius Júnior gets the armband for three reasons:

  • Form: A 4.5 rating means he has been delivering consistently in recent rounds, not coasting on early-season hauls.
  • Fixture: Bayern Munich without Olise are a diminished attacking threat, meaning Real Madrid could dominate possession and create more chances for Vinícius.
  • Ceiling: Five goals and seven assists show he can produce double-digit hauls. A goal and an assist would be 16 points doubled to 32.

Alternative captain: Harry Kane. His 5.0 form and the fact Bayern will lean on him even more without Olise makes him the safest backup option. Kane owners who want a more conservative pick should feel comfortable giving him the armband.

When to Play Limitless: Leg 1 vs Leg 2

This is the million-pound question. Here is the case for each:

Leg 1 (April 7-8)

  • More players available: fewer suspensions from aggregate fouls, fewer injuries accumulated
  • Away teams may play more cautiously, but home sides will attack, creating clear targets
  • You can use Wildcard for Leg 2 to reshape your squad based on Leg 1 results

Leg 2 (April 14-15)

  • Desperation factor: teams trailing on aggregate will throw everything forward, producing goals
  • Higher risk of rotation in Leg 1 means more certainty about lineups by Leg 2
  • Wildcard on Leg 1, Limitless on Leg 2 means you get two optimised squads across both legs
Our verdict: Play Wildcard on Leg 1, Limitless on Leg 2. The desperation factor in second legs historically produces more goals, and using Wildcard first lets you clear out eliminated-team players and injured assets before Leg 1. Limitless on Leg 2 then gives you a fresh, fully optimised squad for the higher-scoring fixtures.

Final Thoughts

The Limitless chip is your one chance to ignore the budget and build the squad you have always wanted. The data points overwhelmingly towards a midfield-heavy, PSG-heavy approach. Four players from Paris (Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, Pacho) form the spine of this squad because they have simply been the best performers in the competition.

The key is not to overthink it. Pick the players with the best stats, captain the one in the best form against the best fixture, and trust the numbers. That is what Limitless is for.
